PURPOSE:To extend the life of a photosensitive belt by bending a periodically shake frame of a belt module, which supports the photosensitive belt, to release the skew generated in belt side parts. CONSTITUTION:A belt frame 2 which supports the photosensitive belt consists of a fixed frame 3 and a shake frame 4 which is supported shakably by a ful crum 6, and a pin 9 of the frame 4 is detained in a recessed part 8 of the frame 3. The tension of the belt is zero when the frame 4 is pulled downward and is bent by a spring 16, and the belt driving force is increased by the force of the spring 16 when the copying operation is started, and the frame 4 is turned upward and is set; and when the copying operation is terminated, the frame 4 is turned downward again. Consequently, the skew in the belt side parts generated during copying is easily released to extend the life of the belt, and replacement of the belt is made easy. |
