PURPOSE:To arrange so that the number of parts may be minimized and the composition simplified by supporting roll paper with a shaft and a back plate installed between side plates and providing an attaching means on a sprinter body in a printer. CONSTITUTION:In a roll paper holder, a front plate 14 and a back plate 16 are formed between side plates 12, a shaft 20 is supported at the bottom of a groove 18 in both side plates and an attaching means 22 is formed at the bottom of the side plate. After attaching the holder 2 to a printer 4 by an attaching means 22, roll paper is placed so that it may be supported between the shaft 20 and a rib 32 on an inclined back plate 16, and then a paper guide 34 is fitted to the roll paper. After these procedures, paper from the roll is fed to the printer 4 through a paper feed port sliding on the shaft 20. Thus, the number of parts is minimized, the composition simplified and the operability improved. |
