PURPOSE:To enable variation of the length of a ladder in response to a dredging depth, by a method wherein a bucket ladder, rockably mounted to a ship, is divided into an auxiliary ladder and a ladder well part, and the ladder well is made slidable over the auxiliary ladder. CONSTITUTION:A bucket ladder device is constituted such that a bucket ladder, around which a bucket conveyor 7 runs, is formed with an auxiliary ladder 30, vertically rocked around an upper tumbler shaft 4 serving as a pivoting fulcrum and a main ladder 20 elevatably slid along a slanted ladder well part 2 on a deck 1 of a ship's hull. The position of an upper end axis fulcrum 23 of the main ladder 20 is varied by elevating operation of a main ladder elevation actuating body 10 in response to a dredging depth. This enables variation of the length of a ladder depending upon a dredging depth. |
