Novel substituted phenoxyphenylpropionic acid derivatives of the formula <IMAGE> in which R<1> is halogen, trihalogenomethylsulphonyl or trihalogenomethyl, R<2> and R<3> independently of one another are hydrogen, chlorine or bromine, R<4> and R<5> independently of one another are hydrogen, cyano, thiocyano, chlorine or bromine, and Z is cyano or a radical of the formula CO-Y in which Y is hydroxyl, halogen, alkoxy or the radical of the formula <IMAGE> in which R<6> and R<7> independently of one another are hydrogen, alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and phenyl which is optionally monosubstituted to trisubstituted, several processes for the preparation of the novel substances, and their use as herbicides. |
