TRAVELLING INSTRUMENT FOR INSPECTING INSIDE PIPE

PURPOSE:To enable an inspection of even a bent pipe of an elbow, etc. by connecting an inspection car and travelling car with a coil spring and by connecting a travelling car and powe car with a flexible shaft. CONSTITUTION:The tip part of an inspection car 27 is brought into contact with the inner wall face of an elbow 45 when the travelling device for inspection of the inside of a pipe travels the pipe inside and arrised at the bent pipe position of an elbow, etc. However, the tip part of the inspection car has a smooth spherical shape and yet the coil spring 26 is flexible, so by pushing the inspection car 27 with the travelling car 22 it is advanced along the wall face of the elbow 45 and the progress of the travelling car is enabled similarly as well. Also a flexible shaft 13 is flexible and by pulling the flexible shaft 13 with the travelling car 22 the power car 7 is passed through a elbow 45. Consequently the travelling device for the pipe inside the inspection can pass through the elbow 45 with the inspection car as a guide without taking a special direction and posture control.
