PURPOSE:To avoid extraneous substance perfectly, by a method wherein an auxiliary bar screen is attached to a main unit bar screen via a link mechanism so that phases for the bars for the both screens may be mutually different and so that the both screens may be mutually close or separated. CONSTITUTION:When a nut 5 screwed into a screw section 4a of a lever 4 is rotated, then a link 3 is worked with a link 6 and so an auxiliary bar screen 2 is kept in parallel with the links and is moved up and down and is made close to or separated from a main unit bar screen 1. As the result, a space between the bars (a) for the main unit bar screen 1 and the bars (b) for the auxiliary bar screen 2 which are arranged so that the phases for the bars may be mutually different, is increased or reduced, and so an avoiding force for extraneous substance can be changeable and it is not necessary for the bar screen apparatus to be replaced. |
