PURPOSE:To easily recognize an elapsed time without any deterioration in design by providing the 1st means which stops the second hand at the minute hand one over another in response to the 1st input and the 2nd means which corrects the second hand to a normal stepping position with the 2nd input. CONSTITUTION:When a signal (a) is inputted with an external input switch, signal switching means 10 and 11 inhibits a signal FL from passing, but allow a high frequency signal FH to pass. Consequently, the second hand is advanced fast and a signal e1 and a signal (b) are outputted when the state of a second counter 13 coincides with the state of a minute counter 16. Then, AND gates 19 and 20 inhibit signals from being inputted to a motor 8 and the counter 13 and the second hand stops at the position of the minute hand. In this case, the minute hand is driven continuously by a motor 4, so how many minutes are passed is confirmed by checking the positions of the second hand and minute hand. On the other hand, when this timer function is reset, the signal FH is inhibited by a reverse procedure and the signal FL is outputted to the motor 8. Consequently, the second hand is stepped normally. |
