PURPOSE:To make a second mechanical member rockable with a compact structure, by varying temperature in plural form memory alloyed member connecting an interval between a first mechanical member and the second mechanical member being rockably installed in the former, in a selective manner. CONSTITUTION:Closing a switch, when a form memory alloy 15a connecting an interval between a first mechanical member 11 and a second mechanical member 12 being rockably installed in the former is energized with a continuous rating current and heated, this alloy 15a alone contracts whereby the second mechanical member 12 tilts as in an arrow A, and at this time, another form memory alloy 15c at the opposite side is stretched out. Next, opening the switch, simultaneously with stopping the heating of the alloy wire 15a, a valve is opened and this alloy wire 15a is cooled by ventilation, and on the other hand, when the switch is closed and an alloy wire 15b is energized with the current and heated, the alloy wire 15b contracts whereby the second mechanical member 12 tilts in the reverse direction to the said one. Thus, with the said alloy wire energized and heated in a selective manner, the second mechanical member 12 is made rockable. |
