<p>Novel solution stable ester prodrugs of corticosteroids of the formula < IMG > and their salts; wherein: m is an integer of from 1 to 5, and n is an integer of from 2 to 9, with the proviso that m+n ? 10; St represents a corticosteroid absent its C21-OH; X represents -O-, -S-, -S(O)-, -S(O2)-, -C(O)N(R)- or -N(R)C(O)-, wherein R represents H or C1-4alkyl; and Y represents a bond or -0-; with the proviso that when n is and X represents -C(O)N(R)- or-N(R)C(O)-, R represents C1-4alkyl.</p> |
