PURPOSE:A culture medium that contains at least one selected from saccharides, aminoacids, extracts of naturally occurring substances and agar in more than a certain concentration, thus enabling high-efficiency proliferation of lichen cells in a short time. CONSTITUTION:At least one selected from (A) saccharides such as sugar alcohol, (B) aminoacids such as glycine or aspargine, (C) extract of naturally occurring substance such bran oil and (D) agar are added in following amounts: A, more than 4w/v%, B more than 0.4w/v%, C more than 4w/v% and D more than 4w/v% and, when needed, conventional additives such as vitamins, inorganic nitrogen and so on are additionally used to give the objective culture medium. |
