PURPOSE:To enable to prevent trailing of printed dots from occurring and contrive higher printing quality, by a construction wherein the heat-releasing effect of a heating element at a front part with respect to a printing direction is different from that at a rear part. CONSTITUTION:A longitudinal groove 9 is provided in the surface of a ceramic substrate 1, and the thickness of a glaze layer 5 is increased at a rear part with respect to the printing direction by a value corresponding to the depth of the groove 9. With the thickness of the heat-insulating glaze layer 5 increased at a part corresponding to a rear part with respect to the printing direction of the heating element 2, the heat-releasing effect of the front part with respect to the printing direction becomes relatively larger than that of the rear part. Accordingly, unstable color forming or transfer of an ink can be prevented from occurring due to heat accumulation at the front part of the heating element 2, trailing of printed dots can be prevented from occurring, and it is possible to clearly print with high quality. |
