PURPOSE:To prevent shocks upon supercharging, and to carry out a safe drive of an automobile, by providing a diaphragm type control valve which is opened by vacuum, in the intermediate part of a bypass passage so that vacuum is directly transmitted to a diaphram chamber or transmitted by way of a negative pressure delay mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Upon acceleration a throttle valve 4 opens greatly, and therefore, the vacuum at a port 13 becomes lower. This lower vacuum is transmitted to a diaphragm chamber 18. Since the vacuum is low, a valve element 22 is closed by the force of a spring 19. Upon turning, a steering wheel angle sensor 26 is turned on, and a VSV 23 is energized. The vacuum of a vacuum delay valve 15 becomes at once lower, but a higher vacuum in the diaphragm chamber 18 is held by a check valve 17 until it gradually becomes zero. The valve element 22 gradually descends under the tension of the spring 19. |
