PURPOSE:To unlock a hardware even if a mechanical trouble is generated by previously registering the lock address of an area to be exclusively used for the hardware. CONSTITUTION:A main storage 11 is divided into a software area 12 and a hardware exclusive area 13 which can not be referred by a program. The 1st operand address of an instruction 14 indicates an operand 16 in the software area of the main storage 11 and a GR1 in a general register 15 indicates a subchannel in the hardware exclusive area 13 to transfer the 1st operand to a prescribed area in the subchannel. Subchannels #0, #1 are assigned to a part of the area 13. Each of control blocks as the subchannels #0, #1 is constituted of a lock byte indicating whether the block is being locked or not and an area storing various information. A lock FF17 and a locking display word 18 are formed for the hardware exclusive area 13. |
