PURPOSE:To prevent forming of a closed loop between opposite stations by inhibiting the transmission of a loopback instruction from the own station when the loopback instruction from an opposite station is received in a system executing loopback mutually to stations opposite to each other. CONSTITUTION:When remote loopback is executed by the loopback instruction from the own station A in the opposite station B, the opposite station B receives the loopback instruction from the own station A, a loopback instruction receiver 6B generates an inhibit signal 9B to control a remote loopback instruction transmitter 4B and to inhibit the transmission of remote loopback instruction. Thus, when the opposite station B is in the remote loopback state by the loopback instruction from the own station A, no remote loopback instruction is transmitted from the opposite station B and the forming of a closed loop is avoided because of the loopback state for both the stations at the same time. |
