PURPOSE:To effectively rigidly hold a superconductive field coil by disposing a retainer on a supporting member to press a wedge for holding the coil, thereby securing to a coil mounting shaft. CONSTITUTION:A supporting member 23 is disposed adjacent to the corner of a superconductive field coil 3 in a stepped slot 18, and secured by a bolt 24 to a coil mounting shaft 2. Then, a retainer 25 is disposed on the member 23, clamped by a bolt 25 to the member 23, and a wedge 27 is pressed radially inward, thereby holding the arc portion and the corner of the coil 3 rigidly. Thus, since the member 23 and the retainer 25 are not moved, it can prevent the coil 3 from moving during operation. |
