PURPOSE:To rigidly hold a superconductive field coil by forming a notch at the top of a tees of a coil mounting shaft, and using a retainer for the notch. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive field coil 3 is held at its corner 33 by a retainer 25 rigidly in a slot 18 and rigidly held at an arc portion 32 and a linear portion 31 in the slot 18 by a wedge 15. The coil 3 is initially contained at the linear portion 31 and the arc portion 32 in the slot 18, and then contained at the corner 33 is the slot 18, thereby associating in the slot 18. Thus, they can be readily associated in the slot 18 without influence of the top 23 of the tees of a coil mounting shaft 2 adjacent to the corner 18c of the slot 18. |
