Adjustment device for setting the relative length of two parallel rods (1, 2), which together make up a control rod. The adjustment device is primarily designed for cheap and simple manufacture, and for easy installation without tools except for a grip. According to the invention, the rods have end sections which work together and which have cross way grooves (7) and corresponding projections (6) which mesh with each other. These end sections are held pressed together by means of a locking mechanism (3) with two spring loaded, rotating legs (4,5) which have longitudinal openings through which the rods' end sections go and whose short sides press these against each other by the slanting position of the legs relative to the rods' length. To release the rods, they have meeting surfaces (11) which forma lengthways track shaped space (12), in which are tongues (13) from the legs. These tongues are of such a width that the rods are separated when the legs are moved away from the locking position.<IMAGE> |
