PURPOSE:To obtain a gas separating membrane which has excellent permeability and is excellent in coefficient of separation of oxygen and nitrogen and is easy in thin filming by using a copolymer of substituted acetylene polymer and polyorganosiloxane. CONSTITUTION:A membrane is formed by the copolymer of a substituted acetylene polymer having the repeating unit shown by the formula and polyoroganosiloxane having active hydrogen in the side chain or the terminal. As the substituted acetylene, 1-trimethyl-1-propyne can be used. The numerical average mol. wt. is 10,000 and the proportion of weight of both the components of copolymer is (90:10)-(10:90) and the proportion of acetylene part and active hydrogen group (SiH group) is 1:(1-0.01). The filming is performed so as to obtain 0.01-100mu film thickness. |
