PURPOSE:To work speedily, accurately, and easily a lens by reading the flask shape of a spectacle frame by a reader and storing it in a computer, and working the lens with a laser beam according to indications of a computer. CONSTITUTION:The flask of the spectacle frame is read optically by the reader and stored in the computer in the form of coordinate points. The lens to be worked is set on a table which is displaced in the X-axial and Y-axial directions according to indications of the computer and irradiated with the beam from a laser oscillator positioned opposite the table. In this state, the table is displaced according to indications of the computer to grind and work the lens in the specific shape. |
