PURPOSE:To effectively hold a superconductive field coil by forming a notch at the top of tees of a coil mounting shaft, and securing to press a retainer to the notch. CONSTITUTION:A supporting member 23 is rigidly held at its corner by a retainer 25 in a slot 18, and held at the arc portion and the linear portion by a wedge 5 in the slot 18. The coil 3 is initially contained at the linear portion and the arc portion in the slot 18, and then contained at the corner in the slot 18, thereby associating in the slot 18. Thus, since the coil 3 is contained at the linear portion, the arc portion and the corner entirely in the slot 18 in a structure for holding by a wedge 15 and the retainer 25, a retaining ring can be eliminated to facilitate a simple structure, an inspection and a repair. |
