The cover (1) of an apparatus for moving this cover (1) between a position, which closes an opening, and a position which is clear of an opening, has parts (2, 5) attached, which swing relative to each other. Each of these has a bearing, which works in conjunction with a corresponding bearing (7) on the mechanism (30) surrounding the opening, in order to provide these parts with a swinging capability relative to the above mentioned mechanism. Each part has a swinging device (8) connected to an operating component (9) for the part in question. The above mentioned bearing is designed so that when opening the cover by means of an operating component connected arbitrarily to a cover part, it allows the previously mentioned cover part, with its bearing, to be moved away from the corresponding bearing (7) on the mechanism. At the same time the cover parts (2, 5) are swung inwards and the second cover part is held back from swinging by its bearing and the corresponding bearing (7) on the mechanism. This allows engagement to the mechanism so that the cover parts are turned to one side relative to the opening.<IMAGE> |
