PURPOSE:To permit the rapid and certain application of an adhesive tape by pulling-out an adhesive-tape holding member through the engagement with the adhesive tape and cutting the tape in the state where the holding member is engaged with the adhesive tape on a roller. CONSTITUTION:A main processor 3 installed onto a foreprocessor installed in the vicinity of a carrying-in passage for rolled paper into a rotary press machine is equipped with a paper feeder 9, dovetail feeding apparatus 10, adhesive-tape applicator 11, perforation forming apparatus 12, case swinging apparatus 13, etc. in a case body 8. In this case, the adhesive-tape applicator 11 is equipped with a grooved roller 18 and a guide roller 17 for guiding the driving-out of an adhesive tape 16 axially supported in free turning and demounting onto the case body 8. Further, the adhesive-tape applicator 11 is equipped with an adhesive-tape holding member 12 which is turned by a driving apparatus 22 and pulls-out the adhesive tape 16 through engagement on the grooved roller 18, pressing member 20 for attaching the pulled-out adhesive tape 16 onto the rolled paper 7a, and a cutter 19 for cutting the adhesive tape 16. |
