PURPOSE:To reduce reduction in the sensitivity of a heat developable photosensitive material during storage and to increase the rate of development by disposing silver halide, a binder and a hardening agent represented by a specified formula to a support to form the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:Silver halide, a binder and a hardening agent represented by the formula (where each of X<1> and X<2> is -CH=CH2 or -CH2CH2Y, Y is a group which is replaced by a nucleophilic group or can be eliminated by a base in the from of HY, and L is a bivalent combining group) are disposed to a support to form a heat developable photosensitive material. The silver halide may be blended with a chemical sensitizer such as a compound of S, Se or the like or a compound of Au, Pt or the like. It is preferable that a reducing substance such as a hydroquinone compound is incorporated into the photosensitive material. |
