PURPOSE:To permit the adoption of a small-sized robot by keeping the loading height of a bundle of cartons at nearly constant height by lowering a pallet according to the loading of a bundle of cartons, when a bundle of cartons are loaded in multistage onto the pallet by using the robot. CONSTITUTION:A pallet 2 is fed onto a pallet line 60 from a pallet feeding part 62 by a conveyor means, and transferred onto a chain conveyor (not shown in the figure) which freely rises and lowers and is stopped directly under a loading position L, and then the chain conveyor rises up to the time when the uppersurface of the pallet 2 reaches the loading position L. Then, a robot 41 is operated, and a bundle of cartons 1 held at a holding position H are loaded successively in multisurface form onto the pallet 2. After the completion of the loading in the first stage, the pallet 2 is lowered by one stage, and the second loading is performed. Afterwards, when a set number of stages of loading is completed similarly, the chain conveyor lowers to the lower edge, and the pallet 2 fully loading the cartons 1 is sent-out into a reserved conveyor part 90. |
