PURPOSE:To enhance fluidity and to stabilize triboelectric characteristics by forming at least one covering layer composed of a colorant or magnetic particles or a conductive agent, and a binder resin on core particles specified in particle diameter distribution. CONSTITUTION:The image forming particles are obtained by adding to a hydrophilic org. liquid in an amt. of 0.1-10wt% a polymer dispersant soluble in said liquid, adding at least one kind of vinyl monomer soluble in said liquid but when polymerized, swellable but almost insoluble in it, in an amt. of <=20 times the amt. of said polymer dispersant, polymerizing it to produce polymer particles having an average particle diameter of 1-100mum, and a component in a particle diameter distribution of within + or -25% weighing >=95% of the total weight of the particles, using them as the core particles, and coating each of them with at least one layer composed of a colorant, magnetic particles, or a conductive agent, and the binder resin. |
