PURPOSE:To easily take two copies through one-time operation by sectioning a photosensitive drum into two areas, and performing an electrostatic charging, an exposing, a developing, a transferring, a cleaning, and a discharging process twice for every original and then performing a fixing process. CONSTITUTION:Respective units (electrostatic charge, exposure, development, transfer, etc.) are turned on and off under the command of the CPU of a mu computer 8 according to the program in a ROM8a. An original of, for example, A4 size is placed laterally on an original platen and forms of A3 size are set. The device is started and then a drum 1 which is charged 3 rotates with pulses of a counter 9 to perform the exposure 2 and development 4 of an image, thereby starting transfer to the front half part of a form C. When the drum 1 rotates by the original size, the original platen returns to its initial position and the 2nd exposure 2 starts; and the same development 4 and transfer 5 with the 1st processes are carried out for the rear half part of the form C, and the image is fixed by an unshown fixing part. Consequently, two copies are easily taken. |
