A level measurer designed for manual indication of the amount of liquid poured into a glass (12) etc., has a body (1) with a device (13) which is fitted to the edge of the glass. This sets the position of a detector (5) to detect the level relative to the required level of the surface of the liquid being poured into the glass. The detector is connected to a loudspeaker (6) via an electronic circuit (8-10). Before the liquid reaches the required level, the loudspeaker emits a low audible signal, which increases in strength and/or pitch when the liquid surface is at the required level.<IMAGE> |
