PURPOSE:To dispense with the special space for attaching a detector, by assembling the main body of the detector consisting of an exiting coil and a detection coil in the end part of a bearing and adhering a high permeability material, which extends to the circumferential direction only in a certain angle range, to a rotary shaft being an object to be detected. CONSTITUTION:Both end parts of a bearing cap 7 are formed in a concaved shape and torque detectors 5 are respectively inserted into these concaved parts. Each of the torque detectors 5 has a detector main body 12 made of brass being a non-magnetic material and the upper surface of each torque detectors 5 is formed into a concave surface matched with the radius of curvature of a bearing metal and each torque detector 5 is assembled in the bearing cap 7 in such a state that said concave surface is contacted with the bearing metal 8. An exciting coil 14 and a detection coil 15 wound on a yoke 13 comprising silicon steel are arranged in the concavity formed in each detector main body 12. A high permeability fine piece 8 comprising an amorphous material is provided to a shaft 1 so as to extend in the circumferential direction of a journal part 3 in a specific angle range. |
