PURPOSE:To obtain a chromatogram comprising normal and sharp peaks with the injection value even exceeding several mul, by employing a capillary column so arranged as to eliminate the existence of any possible liquid phase near the sample injection part of capillary. CONSTITUTION:The end without liquid phase of a capillary column is connected behind a sample introduction port for an on column. A tube is connected to heat the visinity thereof once passed through a capillary column and the other end of the capillary column is connected to a detector. The flow velocity of the carrier gas is adjusted to the linear speed of 20-80cm/sec. The sample needs to contain a large number of low-boiling-point medium. The temperature of the capillary portion coated with no liquid phase is higher than the boiling point of the medium in the sample. After the temperature of the capillary columns is determined individually and a sample is passed through an on column sample introduction port and the on column is operated using an injector. |
