PURPOSE:To prevent any defect from occuring in an electrical joint by installing a light-emitting element and a light-receiving element opposite respectively to the inlet and outlet ends of an optical waveguide located in a pad. CONSTITUTION:Optical switching devices 19, 20 are located in a pad 13 and, while the device 19 is for automatic-constant-speed running use and the device 20 is for radio use. A light-emitting element 23 and an optical waveguide 24 are located in a space S1 of a ring member 8, installed between the case 3a of a switching device 3 and a steering wheel 7, and, on the other hand, an optical waveguide 25 with its outlet and a light-receiving element 26 are located in the space S1 on the opposite side. Then, a cylindrical projecting part 13b is formed on the side of the pad 13 at the positions corresponding to the outlet of the optical waveguide 24 and the inlet of the optical waveguide 25 so that the inlet and outlet of an optical waveguide 27 to be located in the pad 13 can be arranged to face each other. |
