PURPOSE:Hydrocarbons are fed into the reactor filled with a hydrogenation catalyst, as H2 and CO are simultaneously fed at a specific ratio to hydrogenate diens and acetylenes in high efficiency whereby butene-1 is obtained in high yield. CONSTITUTION:In the production of mono-olefin by selective hydrogenation of dienes and acetylenes in hydrocarbon mixtures, preferably C4 fraction, the hydrocarbon mixture is fed to the reactor filled with a hydrogenation catalyst, as a mixture of H2 with CO at a molar ratio of 500-5,000ppm CO to mole H2 is fed to the system, to effect hydrogenation of dienes and acetylenes. The feed of H2 is 1-2 times the stoichiometric amount of the dienes and acetylenes, preferably 1.03-1.3 time and the reactors are used in connection in series. |
