PURPOSE:To increase the absorption performance of carbon monoxide by depositing the mixture of one, two or more selected among Ni, Mn, Rh, Cu (I) and Ag on zeolite of <=10 ratio of silica per alumina to form an absorbent of carbon monoxide. CONSTITUTION:The mixture of one, two or more selected among Ni, Mn, Rh, Cu (I) and Ag is deposited on natural or synthesized zeolite which has <=10 ratio of silica per alumina >=3.8Angstrom effective narrow pore capable of adsorbing carbon monoxide, for example, zeolite such as L, OMEGA type, clinoptilolite, erionite, faujasite, ZK-4, ZSM-2, ZSM-3 ZSM-4 and ZSM-10 to form an absorbent of carbon monoxide. As the method depositing the above-mentioned catalytic metals on zeolite, an impregnating method can be adopted and zeolite is immersed into a soln. of prescribed metallic salts and the metals are deposited thereon by evaporating and drying up the soln. while stirring it. |
