<p>PURPOSE:To elevate the utilization rate with the shortening of the time spent in the work roll replacement by sharing the rolling reduction quantiy to be born by the work roll for replacement to the work stand of the upper stream side or lower stream side of the replacement work roll thereof and by making the share thereof differ the relative speed of the up-and-down pair of work rolls. CONSTITUTION:At the opening time of the N-th (final) stand the differential speed ratio of the up-and-down work rolls is controlled with establishing four equations and equations II, III are estalished every moment. If the rolling speed of the (N-1)-th stand and the tension command of a coiler 5 are adjusted, then, the tensions before and behind the stand 4 can be converged to the target tension t' which is after the roll opening of the stand 4 and the roll of the stand 4 can be opened during the rolling. When the opening degree of the roll is made to a close from the opening condition of the roll thereof, equations I, II, III are established simultaneously and with the similar means the tensions ta-1, ta at the front and behind the stand 4 after the closing of the roll can be formed.</p> |
