PURPOSE:To enable simple measurement of the shape of a three-dimentional object by a construction wherein a non-contact type linear probe of an active optical system and a target segment of this linear probe are scanned relatively in relation to the three-dimentional object to be measured. CONSTITUTION:An image-forming system of a three-dimentional object measuring device forms the images of (scattered) light points positioned on a target segment of a line as an image segment Lg on an image forming plane, and it is constructed as a non-contact type segment probe by two pairs of light source systems F1 and F2 and an image-forming system G. In a device of a type in which a lamp is used, for instance, the light of the lamp 1 is condensed by a condenser lens 3 through the intermediary of a reflector 2, and a target segment of a line is formed by a slit 4 through the intermediary of a projecting lens 5. According to this constitution, the surface portion of a three-dimentional object located on the target segment of a line can be detected entirely by a linear probe of an active optical system, and the shape of the three-dimentional object can be measured simply by moving the aforesaid linear probe relatively to scan the three-dimentional object to be measured. |
