DEVICE FOR ATTACHING SUCTION CUP

PURPOSE:To attach easily a suction cup having good airtightness to a base material without spoiling the beauty thereof by fitting and inserting the boss of the base material into the through-hole of the suction cup and welding the top end of the boss and stopper to each other by using a high frequency. CONSTITUTION:The boss 8 having a small projection 10 and an annular rib 9 at the top end is provided to the base plate 7 of an apparatus and the through-hole 6 of an attaching leg 4 provided to the upper part at the center of the suction cup 2 consisting of rubber, etc. is fitted to said boss. The through-hole 12 of the stopper 11 having the same thickness as the height of the projection 10 is fitted to the projection 10 and thereafter the rib 9 is melted to weld the top end of the boss 8 and the stopper 11 to each other by the high frequency. The completion of the welding is easily checked when the top end face (a) of the projection 10 and the top surface (b) of the stopper 11 are made flush with each other. The suction cup 2 is thus attached to the base plate 7 via the stopper 11.
