PURPOSE:To simplify considerably the mechanism constitution by inserting and detaching freely a developing device for black toner to and from a copying machine body and loading a color toner developing device, which is provided with a color toner preserving part as one body, to the arranging area of the developing device for black toner. CONSTITUTION:A black toner developing device 2 is freely inserted and detached in the axial direction of a photosensitive body 1, and a black toner supply device 3 is left in the copying machine body after the black toner developing device 2 is detached from the copying machine body. In case of switching from black picture to color picture, the black toner developing device 2 is detached to this side to form a space between the photosensitive body 1 and the remaining black toner supply device 3. In this state, a color toner developing device 13 is loaded to this space, namely, the arranging area of the black toner developing device 2. The color toner developing device 13 is provided with the color toner supply part as one body, and a color toner for supply is stored in this supply part 14 and is supplied to the developing device body by a supply roll 16. |
