PURPOSE:To prevent uneven application and to obtain a precise image by using a mixture of a specified org. solvent with water as a dispersion medium in a photosensitive emulsion. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of 95-50wt% water with 5-50wt% one or more kinds of lower aliphatic alcohols selected among methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, n- propyl alcohol and 1-propyl alcohol is used as a dispersion medium in a photosensitive emulsion contg. photo-cross-linkable polyvinyl alcohol contg. photo- cross-linkable structural units. No unfavorable influence is exerted on the emulsified state, and when the resulting photosensitive emulsion is applied to a plastic film and dried, the dryability is not remarkably reduced the generation of bubbles in the emulsion film and a repelling phenomenon is prevented.
