PURPOSE:To cut safely a hermetic vessel in which a combustible liquid remains in a short period in cutting of said vessel by sealing hermetically the already cut part by a self-adhesive tape, sealing an inert gas into the vessel and cutting the vessel. CONSTITUTION:The self-adhesive tape 14 on which a self-adhesive agent is coated is adhered to the already cut part 15 in order to prevent the leakage of an inert gas 13 from the part 15 which is previously gas-cut. The inert gas 13 is admitted under the pressure slightly higher than the atm. pressure through a valve 16 into a conservator 5 to discharge the inside air. The gas 13 is filled in the conservator and is maintained under the pressure slightly higher than the atm. pressure. The conservator is then cut by oxidation gas cutting etc. The intrusion of the outside air is prevented by the outflow of the gas from the gas-cut part. The danger of explosion is thus eliminated. |
