DATA INPUT DEVICE OF NUMERICAL CONTROLLER

PURPOSE:To select easily two types of data on a main spindle in terms of the peripheral speed and the rotational frequency of the main spindle which are set previously when the material conditions are set, by using a CRT screen, the ten- key and a set key. CONSTITUTION:The rotational frequency and the revolving data on a main spindle are displayed in areas (a) and (b) of a CRT screen 1 respectively. When a set key is pushed with the area (a) where no data is fed, a cursor 2 is shifted to the area (b) to attain the input of the data on the peripheral speed. This data on the peripheral speed so far stored in a store area 3 is automatically stored at the area (b) when the cursor 2 is moved to the area (b). Under such conditions, the peripheral speed data set previously and displayed can be set together with the peripheral speed data with which the numerical value is optionally fed by ten-key. Thus it is possible to select easily two types of revolution data on the main spindle in terms of the peripheral speed and the rotational frequency of the main spindle which are set previously when the material conditions are set.
