PURPOSE:To curtail the number of parts and an assembly man-hour by forming as one body a rotary cylinder and a revolving shaft, also providing a bearing housing on a fixed cylinder, and using a fluid bearing of a shaft rotary type. CONSTITUTION:On a rotary cylinder 17 to which a picture recording and reproducing head 1 has been installed, a revolving shaft 18 is formed as one body. Spiral grooves 19, 20 are formed on the outside periphery of the upper part and the lower part of the revolving shaft 18, and the spiral groove is formed on the end face, too. Also, 21 in a figure is a fixed cylinder which has formed a lead for guiding the running of a tape on its outside peripheral surface, and on this fixed cylinder 21, a bearing housing 22 for constituting said revolving shaft 18 and a fliud bearing is formed as one body. In this way, the number of parts can be decreased, the assembly man-hour can be curtailed, and the structure of a rotary head assembly can be simplified, and also, with regard to the assembly accuracy, the reduction of a stack tolerance can be realized easily. |
