PURPOSE:To obtain a good throughput when originals are replaced successively and are copied, by starting preliminarily a partial operation of a process means before an original carrying means is stopped. CONSTITUTION:When a copy button is turned on, a drum motor IM1 and a belt motor IM2 start rotating, and each charger is operated, and rolls 60-62 are rotated for a prescribed time simultaneously to feed an original to a belt. The original is fed to reach a claw while a drum is rotated once from the stop position, and FAD is issued at a prescribed timing after this one rotation to start moving an optical system back and forth (exposure). This optical system is started after the stop of the belt motor IM2 for the purpose of preventing slip of the original due to the belt, and paper feeding from a cassette by a paper feeding roll 18 is performed in this period. When the drum reaches a stop position DHP thereafter, the second exposure operation is started. Thus, two copies for each original are obtained repeatedly. |
