PURPOSE:To facilitate exchange of dry batteries by a method wherein the dry batteries, accommodated in a dry battery case, are attached to a front operating panel at a position which can be seen most easily. CONSTITUTION:The dry battery case 9 is engaged with one end of the front operating panel 1 of gas table and the dry batteries 8 are accommodated therein. The dry battery case 9 is equipped with a lid to prevent the corrosion of the batteries 8 due to boil over or the like by closing it under a normal operating condition. A heat shielding plate 10, fixed to the front operating panel 1 with a given clearnace (a) between the battery case 9, is provided with a notched hole (b) at the upper end thereof. The lower end of the heat shielding plate 10 is projected downwardly than the lower end of the front operating panel 1 by a dimension (c). Accordingly, air can be induced from the lower surface of the main body 12 of the equipment through a space between a leg rubber 11 and a floor surface 13 as shown by the arrow sign in the diagram. According to this method, the clearance (a) between the dry battery case 9 and the heat shielding plate 10 becomes the passing path of air, therefore, the temperature increase of the battery case 9 may be prevented, inconvenience upon replacing the batteries may be eliminated and the handling convenience of the gas table may be improved. |
