PURPOSE:To reduce discoloring and coloring of a nonimage part after copying, and to keep the copy sharp for a long period by forming a photosensitive layer contg. a binary photosensitive material essentially consisting of a diazo compd. and a coupler together with malic acid directly on a support or on a precoat layer formed on the support. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer formed directly on the support or on the precoat layer formed on it contains a binary type photosensitive layer essentially consisting of a diazo compd. represented by formula I, embodied by 4- diazo-2,5-dimethoxyphenylmorpholine, and a coupler, embodied by 2-hydroxy-3- naphthoic acid hydroxyethyl-amide. The malic acid is effective for reducing discoloring and coloring of the nonimage part of a copy, and a preferable amt. of said acid to be attached to the photosensitive body is 0.05-0.4g/m<2>. |
