PURPOSE:To make tickler operation to actuate the opening motion of valve parts unnecessary by enabling the opening of valve in a fuel oil valve unit through the operation of a pressurizing pump in a diaphragm type carburetor provided with the pressurizing pump which is to be operated prior to the starting of an engine. CONSTITUTION:In a curburetor body 14 in which a diaphragm type fuel pump 18 and a fuel oil supplying mechanism 24 provided with a diaphragm chamber 22 in which a part of surrounding wall comprises a diaphragm 20, a pressurizing pump 46 in which an elastic body 70 is repeatedly pressed by an operator to discharge fuel oil under pressure is interposed in a pipeline 38 introducing fuel oil in a fuel tank 36 into a pump chamber 42 of the fuel pump 18. Further, a valve body 48 interrupting a passage 44 is installed in the passage 44 introducing pressurized fuel oil from the pump chamber 42 into the diaphragm chamber 22, and the valve body 48 is interlocked to the diaphragm 20 via a rocking lever 52. The diaphragm 20 is operated by the negative pressure caused by a negative pressure generating means 80. |
