In order to deflect an external prestressing cable encased in a sheath 7 in the region where it passes through a concrete body 1 which is a constituent of a structure, an annular seat 3 carried by a frustoconical sleeve 4, which is part of the formwork, is placed at the heart of this body and a bending-distributor tube 6 consisting particularly of a strip coiled into a helix is placed in this seat, this tube is then deflected by exerting traction on a small cable 8 inserted previously in the sheath which is itself slipped into a tube, after which the concrete is poured around the deflected tube and the cable is inserted therein. <IMAGE>
