PURPOSE:To reproduce desired information through extremely easy operation by recording contents information consisting of bar code information on a video disk and recording information for identification at part of each piece of information, and indicating a bar code with a light pen during reproduction and performing program searching operation and information reproduction. CONSTITUTION:When an operator loads a video disk 2 on a video disk player, all contents recorded on the video disk 2, i.e. contents information appears on a television screen as a still picture; a music number, names of music 11a and 11b are displayed in order from the left and identification codes are shown in bar codes 12a and 12b at the end. Then, the operator in charge of recorded or chestral accompaniment play traces the bar code 12 of favorite music with the light pen 3 and presses a play button, and then music name identification information on the video disk 2 is searched for at a high speed and compared by an identifying circuit 4a with the bar code indicated with the light pen 3. When the both coincide with each other, the identifying circuit 4a outputs a playback command signal. |
