PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a rotary engine being less in pulsation, by making the rotor set up in a square-form combustion chamber rotatable so as to cause its center to describe a circle of true roundness and, under the condition that a rotor shaft is left intact, letting the external gear and an internal gear centering on the rotor engage with each other all the time. CONSTITUTION:Suction ports 4a-4d, exhaust ports 5a-5d and spark plugs 6a- 6d are all installed in each of angular parts 3a-3d of a square-form combustion chamber 2 consisting of inner walls 2a-2d whose one side length is L, respectively. An equilaterally triangular rotor 50 is rotatably installed inside this combustion chamber 2, but this rotor 50 describes circles a'-c' with a radius L centering on each of apexes A'-C' of an equilateral triangle 7 whose one side length is L as well, that is, it is made up of a part where these circular arcs a'-c'. With this constitution four points of the rotor 5 are made contact with these inner walls 2a-2d of the combustion chamber 2 whereby the inner gear centering of the rotor and the external gear on the rotor shaft are made interlockable with each other all the time. |
