PURPOSE:To enable the preparation of a film-shaped tidbit continuously and efficiently from an edible paste, by supplying an edible paste continuously to a belt conveyor in the form of a thin web, scattering small pieces of a food over the surface of the paste, pressing the product to bond the food to the film, and drying the film with heat. CONSTITUTION:An edible paste 1 such as natural poysaccharide, starch, etc. is supplied continuously to a belt conveyor 2 in the form of a thin web, and small pieces of a food 5 and scattered over the surface of the film, pressed to effect the bonding of the pieces with the film, and dried with heat. A film-shaped tidbit can be prepared continuously and efficiently from an edible paste by this process. The food pieces are resistant to falling off from the film, and the obtained product can be handled extremely easily. A rice ball, etc. can be wrapped neatly with the produced film food, and furthermore, the film food can be utilized at it is as an accompaniment of SAKE or as a subsidiary article of diet. |
