<p>PURPOSE:To reduce effectively the level difference of signal voltage obtained from a voltage detecting means by setting a larger number of the 2nd thin strand conductors to which the prescribed voltage is applied at a time than the number of the similar 1st thin strand conductors. CONSTITUTION:The voltage is supplied successively to the thin strand conductors X1-Xn arrayed in the X direction of a position detecting plate 10 and to the thin strand conductors Y1-Ym arrayed in the Y direction on the surface having a larger distance from a voltage detecting means 30 set on the plate 10 than the surface where said conductors X1-Xn are arrayed. In such a case, the position of the means 30 on the plate 10 is detected based on the signal voltage obtained from the means 30. Here the number of conductors Y to which the prescribed voltage is applied at a time is larger than the number of conductors X to which the prescribed voltage is applied at a time. Thus an equal position detecting state is secured between both array directions of conductors X and Y. In such a way, the detection errors are considerably reduced.</p> |
