So that the type of known electromechanical drives used in toothbrushes can be used for shaving as well, twofold use of a toothbrush drive part is made possible by means of a razor head which can also be fitted on, so that a rapid conversion can be made from the toothbrush to the said razor head. The razor head can also be used for wet shaving using shaving foam, and has slots or perforations to permit cleaning using a jet of water. Separation of the electric motor part makes cleaning of the razor head without damage to the drive part possible. Wet shaving, using shaving foam, by means of mechanically drivable cutters improves the shaving effect and is more hygienic than the known dry shaving. In addition, the drive, which is to be held in the hand as a handle, can be handled more easily and can be more easily guided to follow the contours of the face. Regulation of the rotating speed of the driving spindle ensures an adaptable frequency during toothbrushing and shaving, to accommodate the personal preference of the user.
